Arrive a little early and meet the coaching team. A first visit is an opportunity to understand the space, ask about the session and explain what you hope to explore. Bring comfortable clothing and water.
Tell your coach about your training experience and preferred pace. Ask for alternatives whenever a movement does not feel right. You do not need to match the person beside you; a useful session gives you a manageable starting point.
Before you leave, ask what to expect next time. Record one thing you learned and one question you want to revisit. Those small observations can make the next appointment feel more familiar.
