How hours work

Hours you buy once and use over two years

Each hour is a flown hour. Fuel, crew and landing fees are inside the rate.

  1. Choose a card

25, 50 or 100 hours, in one aircraft category. You pay upfront by bank transfer.

    Same day
  2. Book with 24 hours’ notice

Call or message the desk. We confirm the aircraft, crew and slots, usually within an hour.

    About 1 hour
  3. Fly and we count the time

Hours are counted from wheels-up to wheels-down, in 6-minute steps. Nothing is charged for positioning.

    Each trip
  4. Use what is left

Unused hours roll into the next card if you renew within 24 months. A statement arrives after every flight.

    Within 24 months
Validity

Two years from the first payment

Hours expire 24 months after you pay. We write at 90 and 30 days before the end.

Roll-over

Renew early, keep your hours

Renew before expiry and up to 25 hours move onto the new card at the new rate.

Refund

Unused hours can be refunded

Ask within the validity period. We return the unflown hours at the rate you paid, less a 5% handling fee.

Card, charter or enterprise program?

If you fly under 25 hours, charter is usually cheaper. Above 50, the card nearly always is.

Jet card questions

Is the card a share of an aircraft?

No. You prepay hours with Aerelle, and we supply an aircraft from inspected operators. You own nothing and carry none of the aircraft’s costs.

What counts as a flown hour?

Time from wheels-up to wheels-down, rounded to 6 minutes. Positioning flights, waiting time on the ground and de-icing are not counted.

Can a company hold a card?

Yes. Companies usually move to an enterprise program above 100 hours a year, with approval rules and one monthly invoice.

What if I need a larger jet once?

Fly one category up and pay the difference in hourly rate on the hours flown. You do not need to change the card.

Can I share the card with family?

Yes. You can name up to four additional members. You stay the account holder and receive every statement.

What happens to unused hours?

They roll onto a renewed card, or you can ask for a refund within the 24 months, less a 5% handling fee.
