Operator vetting

How we vet every operator

Audit

Paper checks first

We review safety management, maintenance records, crew training and insurance cover before we visit.

Visit

We go to the base

A team member inspects hangars, aircraft and training records in person. About 400 operators inspected.

Decision

1 in 4 are rejected

Operators that fail are not used for any client. Those that pass are reviewed every 12 months.

Crew

Pilot standards

  • Captain and first officer each with 3,000+ hours
  • Captain with 1,000+ hours on the type
  • Recurrent simulator training every 6 months
  • Duty hours capped below legal limits
  • Cabin attendant on midsize and larger, and on any flight over 3 hours
  • Crew change if rest limits would be exceeded
  • No pilot flies a type they have not trained on

Operations room

Someone is watching every flight

The room runs 24 hours with at least 3 people on shift. They track each aircraft, weather, airport changes and crew rest.

If a flight is delayed or diverted, you hear from a person within 15 minutes, with a plan and a new time.

  • Live flight tracking on every trip
  • Weather and NOTAM review before each flight
  • Escalation line to the head of operations at any hour

Insurance

Insurance and compliance

Process described for a design showcase. No licences or certificates are claimed.

Cover

Liability checked before use

We confirm aviation liability cover on each operator’s policy and note the limit on your quote.

Compliance

Permits and approvals

We confirm the operator holds the permissions required for the route and the type of flight.

Records

Documents on request

Corporate clients can ask for the operator checks behind any flight.

Sustainability

Sustainability: what we do and don’t claim

Sustainable fuel

Reduce what we can, measure the rest

On request we add sustainable aviation fuel to a flight, priced per litre. A typical blend cuts lifecycle emissions by up to 80% for that share of fuel.

We report CO2 per flight on every statement. Offsets are a last step, and we say which project they fund. We do not call a flight carbon-neutral.

  • SAF share and cost shown on the quote
  • CO2 per passenger on every statement
  • Fewer positioning flights through empty-leg sales

Safety questions

Do you operate the aircraft?

No. Licensed operators fly the aircraft. We choose them, check them and watch each flight.

What if an operator fails an inspection?

It is removed from the approved list. Flights already booked are moved to another operator and we tell you.

Can I see the checks for my flight?

Yes. Ask your coordinator for the operator’s last inspection date and any open findings.

Do you share safety data?

We share findings with the operator within 48 hours and publish our standards on this page.

What if weather stops the flight?

The captain decides. We rebook or reroute, and you are not charged for a flight that cannot go.

Questions on safety

Ask us what we checked.

A coordinator can send the vetting summary for any operator before you book.
